SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – With a wildly successful January in the books for the Utah Jazz, the team can now turn its attention to a loaded February schedule.

The Jazz went 13-3 during the month of January, climbing from a 2-2 start to the season to the second-best record in the Western Conference and the NBA, just a win behind the top-seeded Los Angeles Clippers.

Now, the team will hope to replicate its January success to stop atop the West’s playoff chase.

February For The Utah Jazz

The Jazz will play 14 games during the shortened 28-day month of February. The games will be split evenly with seven contests at home and seven games on the road, beginning with Tuesday’s meeting against the Detroit Pistons.

The team will have road trips of three games, two games, and four games bleeding into March that will mark the end of the first half of the regular season before the NBA’s planned All-Star break.

The Jazz will host two homestands of four games and two games to break up the road schedule.

Jazz February Features Eastern Conference Foes

February features a slew of games against Eastern Conference opponents, including the first eight matchups over the next two weeks, with meetings with the two Los Angeles teams to break up the interconference schedule.

The Jazz three-game road trip beginning on Thursday starts in Atlanta, before traveling to Charlotte, and Indiana.

The Jazz will return home for four contests against the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers.

The team then embarks on a two-game road series against the Los Angeles Clippers, before returning to Utah to face the Hornets and Los Angeles Lakers on February 22 and 24.

The Jazz finish the month on the road with games against the Heat and Orlando Magic.

Overall, 10 of the Jazz 14 February matchups come against teams currently poised to make the playoffs and have a combined record of 149-130 (.534).
