Chiefs RB Darwin Thompson Pulls In Touchdown Reception Against Chargers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah State and current Kansas City Chiefs running back Darwin Thompson scored his second touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers on a pass from Chad Henne.
The Chiefs hosted the Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, January 3.
With 11:49 left in the fourth quarter, Henne connected with Thompson for an eight-yard touchdown pass.

It was Thompson’s second touchdown of the game.
The catch cut the Chargers’ lead to 31-21.

After the play, Thompson had six catches for 62 yards and a touchdown.
On the ground, he had 12 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown.
Thompson’s first touchdown came with 13:41 remaining in the first half. It was his first score of the season.

Thompson entered the game with 13 rushes for 52 yards in 13 games this season.
