What Utah Utes Fans Should Ask For On Their Christmas Wish List

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – In a way, Utah fans have been spoiled over the last couple of years on the football side of things.
Recruiting is getting better, guys are going to the NFL at a higher rate and the transfer portal has been kind to the Utes.
That doesn’t mean that fans should want more. There is more to be had.
Here is the Christmas wish list that fans should expect in the future.
Pac-12 Championship In Near Future
With two appearances in the Pac-12 Championship game, the Utes still haven’t hoisted the trophy in Santa Clara (now Las Vegas). Division titles are nice but Conference Championships are better. The Utes are trending in the right direction with recruiting, transfers and development to accomplish this goal within the next 2 to 3 years.
The Utes just need to piece it all together on the big stage. They have played well in the regular season recently, but need to perform that way when it counts the most. Expect Utah to be in their first Rose Bowl very soon.
.@CBrewerII will bring leadership and tons of experience in the Big 12 with him to Utah.#GoUtes @kslsports https://t.co/9eWWi10nfZ

Jampacked Rice-Eccles Stadium In 2021
After the COVID-19 pandemic ends, it will be great to see a sold out Rice-Eccles Stadium that will be renovated. The progress in the south end zone is looking really good and the finished product will be amazing to see.
Hopefully with the COVID-19 vaccines coming out now, that fans will be able to pile into Rice-Eccles Stadium in 2021 and cheer on their Utes. There was nothing more strange this season than covering a Utah football game in an empty stadium.
After rushing for nearly 600 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2020, Ty Jordan (@_ylfotyt) earned @pac12 Offensive Freshman of the Year.#GoUtes https://t.co/PwD98Fl0EM

Getting Most Out of Potential From Young Players
Fans saw some promising things from their young players this season, particularly at running back and on defense. The secondary looks to be a step or two ahead of where we expected them to be. The pandemic benefited Utah greatly (silver lining) because the freshmen and sophomores received five games of valuable live reps.
The Utes also signed a great class in 2021 where most of the signees will enroll early and participate in spring ball (if they have one). Picturing the future with this team as it stands and it’s promising and exciting to see.
Probably could've picked 8 guys that were standouts from Utah's win over Washington State.#GoUtes #CrimsonCorner @kslsports https://t.co/7QxSBpF5bo
