SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah running back Ty Jordan earned Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year.
Jordan is the first Utah player to earn a Pac-12 Freshman of the Year award. It’s back-to-back seasons that Utah has produced a Player of the Year winner after Zack Moss was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2019.
The Mesquite, Texas native is the first Utah player to win a conference freshman of the year award since Jason Kaufusi won the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year in 2000.
Jordan earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week three consecutive weeks to end the season.
In five games this season, Jordan racked up 597 yards and 6 touchdowns, while catching 11 passes for 126 yards.
