SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah Utes and current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley ran downfield for a big run during his first snaps as an NFL player in a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Ravens hosted the Jaguars on Sunday, December 20.

With Baltimore holding onto a 40-7 lead and 7:58 left in the game, Huntley replaced Lamar Jackson at quarterback.

On the third play of his first series, the former Utah star burst up the middle for a 19-yard run.

Baltimore went on to win the game, 40-7, to improve to 9-5 on the season.

Huntley finished the contest 2/4 passing for seven yards.

He ran the ball four times for 18 yards.

The former Ute first signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent.

When 53-man roster cuts occurred, Huntley was waived by the Ravens. Huntley cleared waivers and signed onto Baltimore’s practice squad.

Prior to the Week 15 matchup with Jacksonville, Huntley was promoted to the team’s active roster.

The Ravens’ next game is against the New York Giants on Sunday, December 27. Baltimore and New York will kick-off at 11 a.m. on FOX.
