SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill completed the longest throw of his NFL career on a touchdown drive against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Saints hosted the Falcons on Sunday, November 22.
It was Hill’s first NFL start at quarterback.
Late in the second quarter with the Saints at their own 43-yard line, Hill unloaded a deep toss to Emmanuel Sanders.
The 45-yard Hills-Sanders connection gave New Orleans a first down at the Falcons’ 13-yard line with 3:09 left in the half.
Hill’s previous long was a 44-yard completion in 2018.
