Utah finds itself sandwiched between Colorado and Washington. While UCLA, Arizona State and Oregon round out the top three spots.
Timmy Allen
Utah will be led by junior forward Timmy Allen in 2020-21. Allen averaged 17.5 points a game last season and solidified himself as a leader on the team. He was recently named to the Julias Erving Award Watchlist.
New International Blood
Yesterday, Utah announced the signing of Serbian guard Lazar Stefanović to its roster ahead of the 2020-21 season. Stefanović joins the Utes after excelling in Europe and showcasing his scoring, rebounding and assist ability. He stands at 6 feet 6 inches.
“We’re excited to have Lazar join us next season,” Krystkowiak said in a statement. “Lazar is a tremendous player with high-character and an elite student so it’s a great fit both for him and our program. His experience playing in some of the top leagues in Europe and FIBA will be a tremendous boost and brings maturity to both ends of the floor.”
Schedule Awaiting
In late October, the Pac-12 Conference announced a couple of contests for the Utes including a game against Washington on December 3.
The majority of Utah basketball’s schedule for the upcoming season has yet to be announced.
