Zach Wilson Puts BYU Up Two Scores With Late First Half Touchdown Against Boise State

BOISE, Idaho – BYU quarterback Zach Wilson stretch the Cougars’ lead over the Boise State Broncos to two scores with on quarterback draw late in the first half.
The No. 21 Broncos hosted the No. 9 Cougars at Albertson’s Stadium in Boise, Idaho on Friday, November 6.
With 1:00 left in the second quarter, Wilson took the ball four yards and into the end zone to extend BYU’s lead to 16-3 over Boise State.
The touchdown capped an eight-play, 96 yard drive that took 1:26 off the clock.

It was Wilson’s eighth rushing touchdown and 27th overall touchdown of the 2020 season.

After the score, the junior quarterback was 9/12 passing for 85 yards. He added six carries for 11 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
The Cougars went into the halftime break with the 14-point lead.
