BYU DB Caleb Christensen Intercepts Boise State For First Career Pick

BOISE, Idaho – BYU defensive back Caleb Christensen picked off Boise State quarterback Cade Fennegan for his first career interception.
The No. 21 Broncos hosted the No. 9 Cougars at Albertson’s Stadium in Boise, Idaho on Friday, November 6.
On 3rd & 18 from the Boise State 32-yard line, a pass attempt by Fennegan was tipped and intercepted by the freshman BYU defensive back.
It was the first forced turnover of Christensen’s young BYU career.

At the time of Christensen’s pick, BYU owned a 10-3 lead over the Broncos.
Unfortunately for the Cougars, their next possession didn’t result in much. Four plays later, BYU turned the ball over on downs at the Boise State 33-yard line.
Christensen entered the contest with two total tackles in seven games for the Cougars in 2020.
