“We have received official notice from the Salt Lake County Health Department that indicates that with current overlaps between cases (newly confirmed and recovering), we now have 4 COVID cases amongst our team members. This has resulted in a recommendation to dismiss the class/team through Thursday, October 1st. All students/athletes who participate in Class 1B are part of a complete dismissal to distance learning through that time period and will not be able to return to in-person instruction until Friday, October 2nd. This also means that our team will not be able to practice or play in the duration.” – Skyline principal Mitch Nerdin
