Real Salt Lake Midfielder Damir Kreilach Boots In Deflected Corner Kick To Tie Match Against Timbers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake midfielder Damir Kreilach leveled the scoreboard with an early second half goal against the Portland Timbers on a corner kick that was deflected.
Kreilach and RSL played against the Timbers on Saturday, August 29.
In the 48th minute, the midfielder showed off his best “Karate Kid” impression and booted the ball into the back of the net to tie RSL with Portland at 2-2.

The goal was Kreilach’s fourth of the season. He entered the match with three goals in six matches this season. Kreilach entered the contest having recorded eight shots on goal in 2020.
Real Salt Lake’s other goal of the match came off the foot of forward Corey Baird in the 19th minute.
