FORT WORTH, Tex. – Utah native Tony Finau finished the Charles Schwab Challenge eight under par and tied for 23rd place after a -2 score in the final round of the tournament.
It’s the first tournament for Finau and the PGA since play was suspended in March due to COVID-19.
Finau started the final round with three straight birdies on the first three holes. He ended the front-nine with six straight pars. The back-nine was not kind for Finau as he bogeyed in two of the first four holes on the back-nine. On holes 14 and 15, Finau made par before getting a birdie on the 16th hole. He finished the round with two pars.
BYU alum and Utah native Zac Blair shot one-under for the entire tournament.
What a way for the tournament to end.

Daniel Berger won the tournament with a -15 score but had to battle Collin Moriwaka in a playoff after both players were tied after the round concluded.
The next PGA Tournament will be the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The tournament will take place June 18-21.
