Utah Jazz Guard Mike Conley Hits Acrobatic Shot Over Celtics

BOSTON, Mass. – Jazz point guard Mike Conley connected on an acrobatic shot during the opening quarter of Utah’s game against the Boston Celtics.
Conley and the Jazz played the Celtics at TD Garden in Boston on Friday, March 6.
The Jazz guard flung a shot up towards the basket while falling to the ground after getting fouled by Boston’s Brad Wanamaker. Conley’s shot fell through the cylinder with 24.9 seconds left in the first quarter. The Jazzman completed the and-one play with a made foul shot to cut Boston’s lead to 29-28.

Conley finished the first quarter with team-high 9 points on 3-3 shooting including 2-3 from the arc.
The Jazz shot 55.6 percent from the field and 50.0 percent on triples during the first 12 minutes of game time.

Boston ended the opening quarter shooting 54.5 percent overall and 55.6 percent from downtown.
Celtics forward Jayson Tatum scored 9 points on 4-7 field goals.
