ATLANTA, Ga. – Utah guard Donovan Mitchell was sensational in the final 12 minutes of play against the Atlanta Hawks and led the Jazz to their fourth win in a row.

Mitchell put the Jazz on top of the Hawks 111-106 on Thursday, December 19.

Atlanta held a one-point advantage over Utah before Mitchell’s heroics took place. The Jazzman took his game to another level during the fourth quarter against the Hawks.

During the final 12 minutes of the game, Mitchell scored 15 points including a spectacular spin move for an easy layup.

After the game, Mitchell said that “attacking the rim” was the answer to beating Atlanta in the final quarter.

“We found a way and we fought,” said Mitchell.

Mitchell finished the game with 30 points on 12-22 from the field. He added 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and a steal.

Jazz center Rudy Gobert posted another double-double against the Hawks. He recorded 20 points and 13 boards in the win. It was the Stifle Tower’s 11 game in a row posting a double-double. He added 3 blocks including a critical swat in the final minute of the game.

Gobert went to the foul line 19 times against the Hawks. He went 10-19 from the free-throw stripe.

Trae Young led the Hawks with 30 points. Atlanta forward Jabari Parker added 23 points off of the bench.

The fourth consecutive win moved Utah to 17-11 on the season. The Jazz improved to 6-8 away from Salt Lake City.

Utah will continue their Eastern Conference road trip when they play the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, December 21 at 3 p.m. (MDT).
