What To Watch For With BYU, Utah State, Utah Football This Weekend

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – BYU, Utah State, and Utah all have big games ahead of them this weekend. Here’s what to watch for in the college football games on Saturday.
BYU will look to continue their momentum after experiencing a bye week following a victory over then No.14 Boise State.
The Aggies are looking for answers after suffering a blow against the Air Force Falcons.
Utah is hoping to keep itself atop the Pac-12 rankings and get some revenge over the Washington Huskies.
BYU vs. Utah State
The Cougars and Aggies will square off up in the Logan in “The Battle for the Old Wagon Wheel” on Saturday, November 2. USU is looking to win its third straight game over BYU. Watch for who will start at quarterback for the Cougars, either Jaren Hall or Baylor Romney. The game kicks off at 8 p.m. on ESPN2 and KSL NewsRadio 1160 AM and 102.7 FM.
#9 Utah vs. Washington
The Utes are hoping to exact revenge on the Huskies are losing to them twice last season, once in the regular season and again in the Pac-12 title game. Utah sits atop the Pac-12 power rankings but could slip in the race for the south division with a loss or solidify themselves the leader for a spot in the title game with a victory. The Huskies might be without native Utahn Puka Nacua in Saturday’s matchup. The game is scheduled for 2 p.m. (MDT) and will be televised on FOX. You can hear the game on 700 AM.
KSL Sports High School Football Challenge
Former Utah and NFL quarterback Scott Mitchell and former Utes punter Tom Hackett, both with KSL Sports, held a football challenge with two high school students competing for prizes and bragging rights by throwing a football, as well as punting it down the field and kicking the football through the uprights.
