SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – In Utah’s matchup with the Washington Huskies this Saturday in Seattle features two brothers who play for both teams. Due to recent reports, the brotherly showdown might not happen.
Utah’s junior wide receiver Samson Nacua has been looking forward to facing his brother since the Washington freshman wide receiver decided to play for the Huskies.
The problem is, according to 247 sports in Washington, Puka Nacua suffered a foot injury in practice this week and his status of playing against the Utes is up in the air.

“He (Puka) said that he is going to lead his team and I said that our team will be right next to them and we will see who is the better team at the end of the day,” Samson said after a fall camp practice. “I told him to go on kickoff and I will go kick return and we will beat up each other one time and see who wins.”
This season, Samson has 10 catches for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Puka has hauled in 7 catches for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns. He is coming off of his best game of his young college career last week in their loss to Oregon when the former Orem High School star had 3 catches for 43 yards and one touchdown.
Samson is in his fourth season with Utah after using his redshirt during his freshman season. Puka joins the Huskies after a record-shattering high school career with Orem, breaking nearly every state record for wide receivers.
Utah and Washington will kickoff at 2 p.m. on the Saturday. The game will be broadcast on FOX.
