Cougars Tie Game With Field Goal After Stopping Utes On 4th Down

PROVO, Utah – The BYU Cougars tied the game 3-3 in the 2nd quarter of Thursday night’s game with a 32-yard field goal after holding the Utes on fourth down on their previous possession.
BYU kicker Jake Oldroyd squared things up with the Utes after making the short field following a third-down drop by WR Talon Shumway.
The field goal capped an impressive drive from the Cougars following the fourth-down stop.

After a great punt return from wide receiver Britain Covey, the University of Utah drove the ball into BYU territory only to get stuffed by the Cougars on fourth down.
Cougars DB Dayan Ghanwoloku laid a vicious hit on Utes QB Tyler Huntley to end the Utah possession late in the first quarter.
