Donovan Mitchell ‘Wise Beyond His Years’ According To Team USA Teammates

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Donovan Mitchell’s Team USA teammates have been impressed by the young Jazz guard – to say the least.
“He’s a young leader, he’s wise way beyond his years,” said Buck’s guard Khris Middleton.
Middleton complimented Mitchell’s drive to not only be the best that he can be but to elevate the players around him.

“There is nothing but the best moving forward for that guy (Mitchell),” Middleton went on in a video posted by the Utah Jazz on Twitter.
Kemba Walker explained the leadership role he and Mitchell have shared during their time with Team USA as they prepare for the FIBA World Cup. This should excite Utah Jazz fans who are hoping to see Mitchell step up and lead their team to a championship this season.

It’s a comparison that has followed Mitchell since he was drafted, but it’s looking more and more like a reality that he could be the next Dwyane Wade in the NBA.
Team USA will face Spain in an exhibition game on August 16 at 7 p.m.
