Former BYU Wide Receiver Jordan Leslie Signs With Salt Lake Stallions

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU wide receiver Jordan Leslie announced on his Twitter page that he will sign with the Salt Lake Stallions for the 2019 season.

Leslie is the 13th player that played college football for Utah, BYU or Utah State to sign with the Stallions of the Alliance of American Football. He is the fourth Cougar to join the roster that includes tight end Tanner Balderree, offensive guard Tuni Kanuch and defensive tackle Handsome Tanielu.
The former Cougar wide receiver spent the last four seasons on six NFL rosters, starting with the Minnesota on their practice squad in 2015. He joined the Jaguars practice squad the same season and ended on the Atlanta Falcons roster until 2016 when he was signed by the Tennessee Titans.
Leslie was on the active roster for the Cleveland Browns where he made his first NFL reception. In 2017 he joined the Denver Broncos roster for the 2017-18 season before being cut in the preseason.
He spent one season with BYU in 2014 as a transfer from UTEP, he was the second-leading receiver with 779 yards on 55 catches for six touchdowns.
The Salt Lake Stallions just wrapped up mini camp and will open their 2019 season on February 10 in Arizona. Their home opener will be on February 16 against Birmingham at Rice Eccles Stadium.
