SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson flew down the court for a layup that gave his team the lead during the fourth quarter of Utah’s game against the Washington Wizards.

The Jazz hosted the Wizards at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on Monday, March 4.

With 4:13 remaining in the game, Clarkson took advantage of a missed three-pointer by the Wizards for a big rebound. The guard then dribbled down the court and weaved through Wizards before making a layup.
Clarkson’s layup gave the Jazz a 115-113 lead.

After the field goal, the Missouri product had 28 points on 9-20 shooting, including 3-7 on three-pointers. The veteran added seven rebounds, six assists, and one steal in 32 minutes off of the bench.
This season, the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year is averaging 16.8 points per game on 41.0 percent shooting.

The loss capped off a winless three-game Eastern Conference road swing after falling to the Atlanta Hawks and the Orlando Magic.
The Jazz are 1-8 in their last nine games since the NBA trade deadline.

The Wizards face the Jazz riding a season-worst 14-game losing streak.
The Jazz will be the first team with a record below .500 the Wizards have faced since late January when they beat the Detroit Pistons and the San Antonio Spurs in back-to-back outings.
