The Jazz stopped the bleeding with the win over the Pistons on December 20 followed by a win against the Washington Wizards last Thursday, but will now head back on the road for six of their next eight games.
After facing the Spurs the Jazz travel to Golden State and Sacramento before a two-game home stand against the Miami Heat and the Kings.
The team then heads back on the road to face the Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls, and Memphis Grizzlies.
Spurs Are Bottoming Out
The Spurs opened the season with a surprising 5-2 start through seven games, but have gone just 5-20 in their last 25 outings.
San Antonio had lost 16 out of 17 contests between November 2 and December 4 before winning three straight over the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Spurs have followed the win streak with a 1-4 record including a blowout 133-113 loss to the Orlando Magic on Thursday.
San Antonio owns the fourth-worst record in the NBA at 10-22.
