Tony Finau Enters Prime Of Career, Relishing Recent Form

SALT LAKE CITY – Tony Finau has turned 33 years old and still has his best golf ahead of him as he attempts to surge up the world rankings.
The world of golf has experienced more controversy in the previous 6 months than it has over its 258 existence. The PGA Tour has been ambushed by LIV Golf and some of the world’s best-golfing talent no longer call the PGA Tour home.
Finau, however, remains loyal to the PGA Tour and has given no indication of an intention to leave. The PGA Tour was a dream for Finau growing up in Rose Park, Utah. His commitment to the game of golf was driven by the dream of playing on the Tour.
Tony Finau Joins Next Generation
Finau is joined by the next generation of golfers pursuing world golfing dominance. Outside of Cam Smith, the current world number three and current Open Champion, Justin Thomas, Rory Mcllroy, Collin Morikawa, Jon Rahm, Tiger Woods, Scottie Scheffler, and Jordan Spieth, among others all have pledged their loyalty to the Tour.

The 2021/22 season was a breakthrough year for Finau. For the first time in his career, he secured multiple victories on the Tour. He qualified for the upcoming Presidents Cup via points for the first time and did not rely on a captain’s pick to be selected for an international event.
Expectations for the 2022/23 season are immense, Finau is yet to win a major tournament. Inevitably, his time will likely come and the 2022/23 season brings his best chance yet at securing major history.
Finau was also recently voted as the nicest player on the PGA Tour. He is beloved by his peers. Whether Finau is winning golf tournaments, suffering heartbreaking losses, or missing the cut, Finau remains poised in his manner and will always give time to the media and his fanbase.
Utah golf has benefited from Finau’s persona and his ability to connect with fans near and far.
From being just a young boy growing up on the outskirts of Salt Lake City, to being world-renowned, Finau has always stayed true to his morals.
