In the opening minutes of the final quarter, the Dons converted a 4th & 15 to keep a drive alive while moving the ball inside the red zone. On the next play, Dart dashed to the pylon for six points. After an extra point, the Dons were only trailing by seven points, 21-14.

With 9:40 remaining, the Red Devils coughed up the pigskin and the Dons recovered and advanced it to Springville’s 28-yard line. Dart threw a touchdown pass on the following play and the game was knotted up at 21 apiece.

Less than three minutes later, Valeti broke loss for a 64-yard trip to the end zone and the Red Devils regained the lead, 28-21.
