NFL Announces Little Caesars As New Official Pizza Sponsor

SALT LAKE CITY – The National Football League announced Little Caesars as the organization’s new official pizza sponsor with a multi-year agreement.
The NFL announced the partnership on Tuesday, June 14.
“Little Caesars, the third largest pizza chain in the world and home of the famous HOT-N-READY pizza, and the NFL today announced a multi-year partnership that names Little Caesars as the Official Pizza Sponsor of the National Football League,” the NFL said in a statement.
Prior to its agreement with Little Caesars, the NFL’s official pizza sponsor was Pizza Hut.

Pizza Hut was the NFL’s official pizza sponsor from 2018-22. Before the Pizza Hut partnership, Papa John’s was the official pizza of the NFL from 2010-18.

The NFL added that its deal with Little CaesarsĀ will offer the brand a “set of exclusive marketing rights designed to connect the pizza brand with the NFL, its events, and fans. Exciting new components like social media games, new products, new packaging, and unique promotions will be revealed before the start of the 2022 season and continue throughout the course of the sponsorship.”
The 2022 NFL season is set to begin on Thursday, September 8.
The league said that prior to the start of the season, “social media games, new products, new packaging, and unique promotions” featuring its partnership with Little Caesars would be revealed and that more of those elements would “continue throughout the course of the sponsorship.”

Little Caesars was founded by Mike and Marian Ilitch in Detroit, Michigan in 1959.
The pizza chain currently holds naming rights to Little Caesars Arena, home of the NBA’s Detroit Pistons and NHL’s Detroit Red Wings.
