Utah Jazz To Honor Former Forward Carlos Boozer

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz announced that the team will recognize and honor former Jazzman Carlos Boozer during the team’s regular season home finale.
The Jazz will honor Boozer during their game against the Phoenix Suns on Friday, April 8.
Boozer will be recognized during the third quarter for his contributions to the Jazz during his six seasons in Utah.

Boozer played for the Jazz from 2004-10.
During his time in Utah, Boozer helped the Jazz qualify for the postseason four times.
He helped the Jazz reach the Western Conference Finals in 2007.

During his Jazz tenure, Boozer was selected as an NBA All-Star in back-to-back seasons (2007, 2008). He received All-NBA Third Team honors for the 2007-08 season.
As a Jazzman, Boozer averaged 19.3 points per game on 54.4 percent shooting. He also recorded 10.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.4 blocks per contest. He played in 354 games with the Jazz, including 340 starts.
The Jazz plan to honor Boozer’s teammate, Deron Williams, next season.
Utah’s game against Phoenix will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. (MDT). The game will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA TV, and The Zone Sports Network.
