SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz will look to snap a five-game road losing streak when they face the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.

The Jazz ended their second five-game skid this season with a win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday and will look to halt their road woes in San Francisco.

The Warriors meanwhile will be looking to avoid their own five-game losing streak when they host the Jazz.

Warriors Are Potential Jazz Playoff Foe

With just five games left to play in the regular season, the Jazz sit in the fifth seed in the Western Conference while the Warriors are slated into the three-seed if the standings were to hold steady.

Projecting the final standings in the West is a difficult predicament however as only 2.5 games separate the third-seeded Warriors, fourth-seeded Dallas Maverick, fifth-seeded Jazz, and sixth-seeded Denver Nuggets.

The Jazz also have a chance cut their playoff-clinching magic number in half when they face the Warriors.

Currently, the team needs any combination of two wins, or two Minnesota Timberwolves losses before the end of the regular season to avoid the postseason play-in tournament held between the 7th-10th seeds to determine the final playoff spots.

Warriors Will Be Shorthanded

While the Jazz welcomed back Bojan Bogdanovic and Danuel House Jr. in Thursday’s win over the Lakers, the Warriors will still be awaiting the return of superstar Steph Curry.

Curry suffered a foot injury on March 16 during a matchup with the Boston Celtics.

According to the Warriors, Curry will miss at least another 10 days and will be reevaluated on April 11.

Golden State is just 1-6 in their last seven games since Curry went down with the injury.

Broadcast

The Jazz and Warriors will tip-off at 6:30 pm MT and can be heard on The Zone Sports Network. The game will be televised on AT&T SportsNet and FuboTV.
