Report: NFL HOF Wideout Terrell Owens Coming Out Of Retirement To Play In New League

SALT LAKE CITY – NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens is reportedly coming out of retirement to play in a new football league that is controlled by fans.
Reuters is reporting that Terrell Owens is going to join the Zappers in the Fan Controlled Football League.
Players are listed on the site as well, but only some are on rosters. Johnny Manziel is the quarterback for the Zappers. Former Utah State RB Robert Turbin is a player listed but not assigned to a team.
Owens, 48 years-old was recently in Salt Lake City on March 12 to watch the Utah Jazz face the Sacramento Kings.

What Is Fan Controlled Football League?
FCF is a startup league that will allow the fans to watch the game and call all the plays in real-time. It’s a 7-on-7 league with a three-man offensive line. Also, no kickoffs, punts and goal posts are allowed in the league. Teams will start at their own 10-yard line and will drive 40 yards for the score. For the extra point, it is a one-on-one battle between a wide receiver and defensive back.
The league consists of eight teams, including the Glacier Boyz, Beasts, Kingpins, Bored Ape FC, Shoulda Been Stars, Knights of Degen, Zappers and 80ki.
Some teams have owners that are listed on their website. Multi-platinum musician Quavo Huncho, Twitch streamer Adin Ross, All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman and former UCF player and current YouTube sensation Deestroying co-own the Glacier Boyz. Minnesota Vikings Dalvin Cook, NBA 2K’s Ronnie Singh, New York Mets pitcher Trevor May and social media icon Bob Menery are co-owners of the Zappers.
Super Bowl champion and Pro Bowl RB Marshawn Lynch, WNBA champion Renee Montgomery and wrestling superstar Miro are co-owners of Beasts. For Shoulda Been Stars, comedian Druski, former ESPN host Rachel Lindsay and current Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler are the co-owners.
The rest of the owners for the other teams are not listed.
