SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz center Rudy Gobert rejected a shot attempt that led to a three-pointer by Royce O’Neale during Utah’s game against the Houston Rockets.
The Jazz hosted the Rockets at Vivint Arena on Monday, February 13.
With 7:40 remaining in the third quarter, Gobert swatted an eight-foot attempt by Houston’s Christian Wood.
Bojan Bogdanovic collected the rebound and pushed the ball ahead to Royce O’Neale, who let loose on a 26-foot jumper that sailed through the cylinder. O’Neale’s triple gave the Jazz a 91-67 lead with 7:35 left in the quarter.

Rockets Look For Jazz Road Sweep
The Rockets stunned the Jazz in mid-January with a 116-111 victory in Salt Lake City.
The Jazz were without Donovan Mitchell who had suffered a concussion in the previous game and allowed Houston’s shooters to go largely unchallenged as the Rockets knocked down 22-45 three-point attempts in the game.
Reserve guard Garrison Mathews scored 23 points off the bench including knocking down 5-9 threes in the victory.
However, the Rockets have struggled since beating the Jazz on the road. Houston is just 1-8 in their last nine games and has been outscored by an average of 13.3 points per.
Utah’s game against Houston is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA League Pass, and The Zone Sports Network.
