Mike Conley Sparks Jazz Offense Early Against Timberwolves

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Mike Conley carried Utah’s offense early in the first quarter against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves hosted the Jazz at Target Center on Sunday, January 30.
Conley scored seven of Utah’s first nine points in the contest.
The veteran guard first connected on a 16-foot pull-up only 90 seconds into the game.

With 7:30 remaining in the quarter Conley knocked down a three-pointer to stretch Utah’s lead to 9-3.
Conley had seven points on 3-4 shooting, including 1-1 from beyond the arc. He added one rebound in five minutes of action.
This season, Conley is averaging 14.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.
