Red Rocks Move Up Two Spots In Latest Rankings After Win Over No. 3 Oklahoma

SALT LAKE CITY – The Red Rocks moved up the latest rankings after their impressive win over then-No. 3 Oklahoma on Friday night at the Huntsman Center.
Entering the meet on Friday, the Red Rocks were ranked No. 4 in the country. After their 197.775-196.650 win over the Sooners, Utah moved up to No. 2 in the country. It’s the first time since 2018 that the Red Rocks are ranked No. 2 in the nation.
Their score on Friday was the highest in NCAA gymnastics this season and the highest in a home opener in program history.

They are the No. 1 team on beam, No. 3 on floor and vault, while coming in at No. 6 in bars in the nation. Only Michigan is ranked higher than the Red Rocks.
Utah will jump into Pac-12 action beginning on Friday, January 21 when they host Arizona State at the Jon M. Huntsman Center. The meet will begin at 7 p.m. MT on the Pac-12 Network.
