SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz guard/forward Joe Ingles was ejected in the first half against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night at Vivint Arena.
The Jazz were already shorthanded due to players being in health and safety protocols that left them without a center. Joe Ingles returned after missing the last couple of games due to being in the health and safety protocols.
With 8:32 remaining in the first quarter, Joe Ingles gave an elbow to Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen and was assessed his first technical foul. In the second quarter, Bojan Bogdanovic had his wrist grabbed by Cedi Osman. On the way back down the floor, both Bogdanovic and Ingles aggressively argued with the officials and the Australian was given his second technical and ejected from the game.

This is the second time that Ingles has been ejected from the game. The first time was on the road against the Sacramento Kings after being called for a flagrant two foul.
