Report: Damian Lillard To Have Surgery To Address Lingering Abdominal Injury

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Weber State star and current Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard will reportedly have surgery that will keep him out for some time.
According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, Damian Lillard will have surgery to address a lingering abdominal injury and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.
The procedure isn’t expected to keep Lillard out for the remainder of the season.

The former Weber State star is averaging 24 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game, while shooting 40% from the field and 32% from the three-point line. Portland is currently sitting in 10th place in the Western Conference standings with a 16-24 record.
