Utah To Hold Moment Of Loudness During Rose Bowl Game

LOS ANGELES – Utah’s moment of loudness tradition at home games will also take place in the Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena, California on Saturday.
During the break between the third and fourth quarters at home games, Utah held a moment of loudness. Fans at Rice-Eccles Stadium would shine their lights and yell loud during a video that would be played on the jumbotron that was narrated by head coach Kyle Whittingham.
Utah announced that the moment of loudness will take place during a timeout in the second half of the Rose Bowl Game.
“To the Utah Football Family: The Moment of Loudness is coming to the Rose Bowl Game,” Utah tweeted. “It will take place either at the last break in the 3rd quarter or the first break in the 4th quarter. For A. Lowe and Ty, let’s make this the loudest one yet.”

The moment of loudness is to honor the lives of Ty Jordan and Aaron Lowe. Jordan passed away on Christmas Day in 2020 to an accidental gunshot wound in Denton, Texas. Lowe was tragically shot and killed at a house party in Sugarhouse on Saturday, September 26.
Utah and Ohio State will battle in the Rose Bowl Game on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
