SALT LAKE CITY – The Baltimore Ravens have taken former Utah quarterback Tyler Huntley off of their reserve/COVID-19 list.
Last week, Tyler Huntley was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and missed the Raven’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
On top of that, Lamar Jackson was out with an ankle injury, which left the Ravens to start Josh Johnson on Sunday.
Ravens activated QB Tyler Huntley off the reserve/COVID-19.
Huntley will return to his backup role but he might have to start for Lamar Jackson if he is unable to play Sunday against the Rams. Jackson (ankle injury) returned to practice Wednesday.

As of right now, Huntley will move to back to his backup role. Jackson is still dealing with an ankle injury. There is a chance that Huntley could start on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Although, Jackson did return to practice on Wednesday.
Huntley put the NFL on notice when he started against the Green Bay Packers two weeks ago. The former Ute completed 28 of his 40 pass attempts for 215 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran rushed for 73 yards and two scores.
Baltimore fell to the Packers 31-30.
