SALT LAKE CITY – A Utah Jazz dancer received a proposal during the team’s win over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night, and the romantic gesture has gone viral.
Jazz dancer Danielle Bush was surprised when in the middle of one of their in-game performances, the music suddenly changed, catching her off guard.
The song switched to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars as though the rest of the Jazz Dancers continued with their preplanned routine, Danielle was clearly caught off guard.

As Danielle looked around to try to copy the moves from the rest of the dancers, her soon-to-be husband walked out to center court for the surprise proposal.
Brandon got down on one knee at halfcourt and showed her the ring, and after a few seconds of emotion, Danielle nodded her head to accept his offer.
The video of the proposal has since gone viral with several different media outlets picking it up.
The NBA’s official Instagram page had over 120,000 likes on the post by Monday night, while popular NBA tweeter World Wide Wob received more than 2,000 retweets on his post.

The proposal to the Jazz dancer was coordinated by the new fiance, Utah Jazz Dancer’s director Ashley Kelson, and Jazz producer and Senior Director of Entertainment Payden Adams.
In a social media post, Adams wrote “She had no idea what was coming!!! The proposal at our game tonight reminds me why I do what I do – Def one of my favs so far. Spread love and joy people.”
According to Danielle’s social media pages, she and Brandon had been together for two years before he surprised her with the proposal at the game.
