Bills Sign Former Weber State Standout Taron Johnson To Extension

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Buffalo Bills announced that former Weber State standout Taron Johnson signed a multi-year contract extension with the NFL franchise.

Johnson signed a three-year extension to remain with the New York football team.

About Taron Johnson
Before his time in the NFL, Johnson played at Weber State from 2014-17.
The Sacramento, California native recorded 172 total tackles, 123 solo tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks, six interceptions, 48 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 47 games.
After his time with the Wildcats, the Bills selected Johnson during the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
During his three-plus seasons in the league, the cornerback has 201 total tackles, 156 solo tackles, four sacks, four forced fumbles, two interceptions, 19 pass breakups, and a touchdown in 42 career games.
