Utah State’s Andrew Peasley Comes In At QB For Injured Logan Bonner

LOGAN, Utah – Backup quarterback Andrew Peasley entered the game for Utah State against BYU in the fourth quarter for the injured Logan Bonner.
With eight minutes to play in the game, Logan Bonner ran out of the pocket and threw the ball. He was running out of bounds and landed awkwardly on his leg and needed to be helped to the medical tent.
Andrew Peasley came in for Bonner and the Aggies needed to punt on his first drive as the signal caller. At the time of the injury, Bonner completed 21 of his 41 pass attempts for 276 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, while rushing for 13 yards on eight carries. Peasley went 3-for-4 for 15 yards on his first drive.
BYU had a 34-20 lead at the time.

Deven Thompkins had another outstanding outing with eight receptions for 110 yards and one TD. According to the CBS Sports Network broadcast crew, it was a hyperextended knee for Bonner.
