SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Las Vegas Raiders and Intermountain Healthcare partnered to hold a “Friday Night Showcase” event at Dixie High School with former BYU and NFL tight end Doug Jolley.

The event will take place at Dixie High on Friday, October 1 at 6 p.m. (MDT).

It will take place prior to kickoff of the rivalry football game between the Dixie Flyers (3-3) and Snow Canyon Warriors (4-2).

Members of the Raiders and IHC representatives will be at the Showcase, including Jolley and the Raiderettes.

The NFL franchise and IHC will provide Dixie and Snow Canyon with customized banners, cheer cards, eye black, sweatbands, special decals and other Raiders-themed items.

Jolley and Raiders Alumni will be available for autographs, Raiders-themed giveaways, fan meet-and-greet, and the coin toss for Snow Canyon vs. Dixie.

The Flyers and Warriors will kick-off at 7 p.m. (MDT).

About Doug Jolley

Before his time in college and the NFL, Jolley played high school football at Dixie.

Following his prep career with the Flyers, Jolley played at BYU from 1997-2001. During Jolley’s time with the Cougars, he had 51 catches for 783 yards and nine touchdowns in 26 games. After his final year in Provo, Jolley was honored as a first team All-Mountain West Conference selection.

Jolley was selected by the Oakland Raiders during the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, Jolley was a starter for the Raiders and caught a touchdown pass in the AFC Championship Game. Oakland advanced to the Super Bowl that season.

The former BYU standout played for the Raiders until 2004.

In 2005, Jolley was traded to the New York Jets.

A year later, New York sent the tight end to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jolley’s last season in the NFL was 2006. He retired with career statistics of 120 catches for 1,303 yards and six touchdowns in 74 games.

He is currently a teacher at Crimson Cliffs High School in St. George, Utah.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders own a 3-0 record after a hot start to their season.

Las Vegas’ next game is against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, October 4 at 6:15 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on ESPN.
