Tony Finau Slides Down Leaderboard Following Third Round Of BMW Championship

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – PGA Tour golfer Tony Finau fell on the leaderboard following his third day at the BMW Championship.
The BMW Championship takes place from August 26-29 at Caves Valley Golf Club in Baltimore, Maryland.
Finau dropped seven spots on the leaderboard after Saturday’s round.
The Utah native shot a two-under par for a score of 70 in the third round.

Finau opened the tournament with scores of 67 and 72 on the first two days of play.
He is currently tied for 32nd place and is seven-under for the event.
Finau is slated to tee-off for his fourth and final round at the BMW Championship at 9 a.m. (MDT) on Sunday, August 29.
Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Cantlay enter the final round tied atop the leaderboard at 21-under par.

Jon Rahm, who is the reigning champion of the tournament, is currently in eighth place.
The event’s purse is $9.5 million.
