Justin Meram Scores First Goal Of Season To Give Real Salt Lake Early Lead Over Dynamo

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake forward Justin Meram scored his first goal of the season and gave his club an early lead over the Houston Dynamo.
RSL hosted Houston Dynamo FC at Rio Tinto Stadium on Wednesday, August 18.
During the sixth minute of action. Real Salt Lake’s Bobby Wood was on the attack following a Houston turnover. Wood fed the ball to a sprinting Meram.
The forward connected on a strike and buried the ball into the back of the net.
Meram’s goal gave RSL a 1-0 advantage.

It was the forward’s first score of the 2021 campaign.
Meram entered the match with two assists, 10 shots, and four shots on goal this season. Wednesday’s match was Meram’s 18th appearance for RSL in 2021.
Wood’s assist was his first of the season. It was Wood’s 12th match as a member of Real Salt Lake.
