This will be a part of Utah State’s non-conference slate. The games will be played in Annapolis, Maryland.

It’s the first time that the Aggies and Spiders will face each other in basketball. Richmond finished the previous season with a 14-9 record, while advancing to the second round of the NIT.
Along with playing at Navy, Utah State and the other participating teams will immerse themselves in the inner workings of the U.S. Naval Academy through guided tours held on Thursday, November 11. Both games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
Utah State will enter their first season under Ryan Odom as head coach who left UMBC to coach the Aggies. He took the vacant spot left by Craig Smith, who became the head coach of the Utah Runnin’ Utes program.
Former UMBC players R.J. Eytle-Rock and Brandon Horvath joined coach Odom in Logan. The Aggies also picked up former Utes Rylan Jones and Norbert Thelissen.
