Jazz Set Franchise Playoff Record For Most Threes In A Quarter

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz set a franchise playoff record for most three-pointers made in a single quarter in Game 5 on Wednesday night.

The Jazz set the franchise playoff record with 10 three-pointers in the first quarter against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Bojan Bogdanovic led the way by making six of his seven attempts from beyond the arc. Royce O’Neale knocked down two triples, while Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson each made one.
Utah held a 37-36 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The first triple of the night came from Royce O’Neale to put the Jazz within two points with 10:23 left in the first. Then Bogdanovic hit his first three to bring the Jazz within three points with 8:43 remaining. Royce O’Neale tied the game with his second triple of the quarter. Bogdanovic nailed his second three with 7:11 left in the first to tie the game at 13.
Donovan Mitchell’s only triple of the quarter was a contested shot as the shot clock expired to put Utah up by three points with 5:46 left. Bogdanovic then made back-to-back threes for the Jazz with 4:19 and 3:44 left in the quarter. Jazz went up three after the second one of that sequence.
With 3:21 left, Bogdanovic hit another one to give the Jazz a 32-26 lead. Clarkson made the 10th and final three-pointer of the first quarter for the Jazz to put them up 37-34 with 9.4 left. Bogdanovic made his first six threes before missing his seventh attempt.
Game 6 between the Jazz and Clippers will be on Friday, June 18 at 8 p.m. MDT on ESPN
