Ersan Ilyasova Buries Five Three-Pointers To Start Game Against Lakers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Ersan Ilyasova connected on five consecutive shots from beyond the arc to begin Utah’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers hosted the Jazz at Staples Center on Saturday, April 17.
Ilyasova started the contest 5-5 from distance for 15 points.
38 seconds into the contest, Ilyasova rose up and buried a shot from 25 feet out.

With 10:30 remaining in the quarter, the center connected from downtown again.
20 seconds later, Ilyasova buried his third triple.

With 1:19 left in the quarter, Ilyasova put up another shot from distance.

Ilyasova’s 15 points helped the Jazz to 35-34 lead at the end of the first quarter.
He also had one steal in seven minutes on the court.
The early shots had fellow Jazzman Donovan Mitchell posting about Ilyasova’s triples.
Mitchell missed the game with a right ankle sprain.

This season, Ilyasova is averaging 2.1 points per game on 27.8 percent shooting.
He also averages 1.3 rebounds and 0.3 assists in 6.4 minutes per contest.
Ilyasova has appeared in nine games for the Jazz this season.
Utah’s game against Los Angeles is broadcast on ESPN and 97.5 FM.
