Jazz’s Georges Niang Torches Net With Four Early Three-Pointers Against Thunder

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz forward Georges Niang ripped the net with four three-pointers during the opening quarter of Utah’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Jazz hosted the Thunder at Vivint Arena on Tuesday, April 13.
Niang started the contest by burying a pair of triples during the first 3:05 of game time.
Later in the quarter, the Jazzman connected on another pair of three-pointers in the closing minutes of the quarter.

At the end of the first quarter, the Jazz trailed the Thunder, 31-22.
Niang’s threes gave him 12 points on 4-6 shooting.
He also had three rebounds in seven minutes on the court.

This season, Niang is averaging 5.5 points per game on 43.5 percent shooting, including 40.7 percent from beyond the arc. He also averages 2.1 boards and 0.7 assists in 13.9 minutes per contest.
