Jazz Center Rudy Gobert Rejects Trio Of Houston Shots In One Minute Stretch

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and Jazz center Rudy Gobert blocked three shots by the Rockets in a span of just over one minute during Utah’s game against Houston.
The Jazz hosted the Rockets at Vivint Arena on Friday, March 12.
With 8:51 left in the third quarter, Gobert rejected a shot by Kevin Porter Jr.
31 seconds later, the “French Rejection” blocked a field goal by Houston’s Justin Patton.
With 7:47 to go in the quarter, the “Stifle Tower” swatted Jae’Sean Tate’s attempt at a driving dunk.

The three swats gave Gobert four blocks for the game.
At the end of the third quarter, the Jazz held a 92-79 lead.
The Jazz center had 11 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks during his first 23 minutes on the court.
Gobert entered the game with 98 blocks on the season.
