Game Night Live Rewind: Girls Hoops Tournaments Full Of Teams With Unfinished Business
Mar 10, 2021, 4:01 PM
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Girls High School Basketball State Tournaments were full of teams that had unfinished business in 2021.
From 1A to 6A, Game Night Live Rewind hosts Dusty Lister and Dane Stewart discussed the teams that had unfinished business.
Stewart pointed out the Springville Red Devils having some unfinished business and they completed that by winning the state championship at the buzzer over Farmington. In 2020, they went through a tough Lehi team to face Highland in the state title game in which they lost. This year, Springville went 22-2 and won the 5A crown.
.@dustylitster & @dane_stewart sit down with 2-time State Champion Emma Calvert of the Fremont Silverwolves to talk about Fremont's impressive undefeated season and their run to 6A Girls Basketball Title.https://t.co/bMz1he68gR @emmacalvert21 @FremontGBB @THEfremonthigh

Lister mentioned Fremont, who went 26-0 and beat Herriman in the state championship game, 63-43. The Silverwolves faced Bingham in the tournament for the last three years and lost each one before getting revenge in the semifinals.
