SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake has announced its preseason schedule that will consist of three exhibition games in Tuscon, Arizona.
Preseason for RSL will officially begin on March 8th in Herriman, Utah. The club will conduct most of its preseason training in Utah, however, RSL will travel to Tuscon, Arizona for a ten-day stretch starting on March 31st and ending on April 10th where all three exhibition games will be played.
The first game is scheduled for Saturday, April 3rd against Colorado Rapids with kickoff at 3 p.m. Four days later on Wednesday, April 7th at 6 p.m. RSL will take on USL side Phoenix Rising before concluding their preseason schedule against LA Galaxy on April 10.

All three games will be played at Kino North Stadium, a hub for MLS clubs who travel to Arizona during the preseason.
A week after RSL plays LA Galaxy in their final preseason game the MLS season is expected to start. MLS is yet to release its 2021 MLS season schedule, however, the club stated that it is preparing to begin the 2021 season on the weekend of April 17th.
The game against Phoneix Rising on April 7th will not be available for stream. The other two games against Colorado and LA is yet to be determined. The club is hopeful that they will have answers within a week or two.
Due to COVID protocols, truck & crew availability in AZ, logistics with LA/COL, streaming preseason matches in Tucson is TBD. I should have final answer in a week or two.
Only thing I can say with certainty is PHX game will not be streamed. Rising said no thanks. https://t.co/jCIh92HzKR

RSL’s Comeback Season Pending
RSL is hopeful that the 2021 season will bring a return to the playoffs. Last year, the club finished second-to-last in the Western Conference and missed the playoffs for the first time in three years.
Manager Freddy Juarez is entering his second year at the helm of the club and is determined to bring more success to RSL in 2021.
However, RSL is still without an owner. MLS Commissioner Don Garber stated earlier in the year that he and the league are optimistic a new owner will be found sometime in 2021.
