SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz rose up for a massive dunk against the Phoenix Suns.
Mitchell and the Jazz hosted the Suns in a preseason game at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Monday, December 14.
After Mike Conley was caught in the air, he found Mitchell and threw the ball to him at the three point line. Mitchell used a shoulder fake on rookie Ty-Shon Alexander, then blew past him and into a wide open lane. Suns big man Deandre Ayton saw Mitchell coming, backed up, and watched as Donovan hammered the ball through the net.

The points gave Mitchell 15 for the game with 5:53 left in the third quarter.
The play was a part of a big second half push for the Jazz, who came out of the locker room up just a single point, but stretched their lead to 19 with Mitchell’s dunk.
