SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Derrick Favors scored the first points of his second stint with the team during the first quarter of Utah’s preseason game against the Phoenix Suns.

The Jazz hosted the Suns at Vivint Arena on Saturday, December 12.

The Jazz big man banked the ball off of the glass and into the bucket for the first points of his return.

After spending last season with the New Orleans Pelicans, Favors was a free agent this offseason and chose to return to the Jazz.

Favors first entered the game near the end of the first quarter.

By comparison, Phoenix shot 36.7 percent overall, including 20.0 percent from deep.

The Suns were led by Devin Booker’s 12 points.

Utah’s game against Phoenix is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA TV, and 97.5 FM.
