Raiders DB Nevin Lawson Sets Up Easy Touchdown Run By RB Devontae Booker

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah State and current Las Vegas Raiders defensive back Nevin Lawson set up an easy touchdown by running back Devontate Booker.

Locals Connect
The two local players connected on back-to-back plays late in the game.
Early in the fourth quarter, Lawson, who played at Utah State from 2010-13, forced and recovered a fumble at the Denver seven-yard line.

One play later, Raiders running back Devontae Booker, who played at Utah from 2014-15, scored a touchdown for a second consecutive game.
With 10 minutes left in the contest, Booker took the ball up the middle for a seven-yard touchdown.
It was the former Utah running back’s second time into the end zone in as many weeks.

The score stretched Las Vegas’ lead to 30-6.
Following the fumble, Lawson had one tackle, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Devontae Booker Scores Again
With 1:54 left in the game, Booker ran in his second touchdown of the game on a 23-yard run.
The carry pushed the Raiders’ lead to 37-12.

After the second score, Booker had 16 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns against his former team. He also had one catch for two yards.
In nine games this season, Booker has 49 carries for 304 yards and two touchdowns.

Las Vegas went on to win 37-12 to improve to 6-3 on the season.
The Raiders’ next game is against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, November 22 at 6:20 p.m. (MDT) on KSL TV.
